Tillamook Air Tours started with a love of aviation history and grew into specializing in scenic air tours around the Oregon Coast. To capture the mood of the times imagine flying in a historical 1942 Stinson Reliant AT-19 located next to the gigantic and historic World War II Blimp Hanger.

Constructed by the US Navy in 1942 during World War II for Naval Air Station Tillamook, the hangar building, which is the largest clear-span wooden structure in the world is now home to "one of the country's top private World War II aircraft collections".

After careful research TAT welcomed its first 1942 Stinson Reliant AT-19. This completely restored aircraft was one of 500 ordered by the USAAF in 1942 and leased to the Royal Navy’s “Fleet Air Arm” to train British personnel in the arts of navigation, radio communication, and aerial photography. Built tough to lead a rugged life, many of them were used “in the bush country of Alaska and Canada.

Tillamook Air Tours is proud of the many hundreds of passengers that have had the opportunity of flying in this historical aircraft.
